CBD for large pores – balance, tighten, refine
You can't shrink your pores – but you can make them look dramatically smaller. The key isn't punishing skin but giving it the right balance. CBD makes it possible.

Why do pores get large?
Pores are the openings to the skin's sebaceous glands and hair follicles. Their size is partly determined by genetics, but several factors can make them more prominent: excessive oil production widens pores, clogging from dead skin cells and sebum stretches them, and aging reduces skin elasticity making pores more visible.
Sun damage breaks down collagen around the pores, and without that support, the pore loses its shape and appears larger. Incorrect skincare routines – especially aggressive cleansing that dries out skin and triggers more oil production – worsen the problem in a vicious cycle.
Many pore-minimizing products contain astringents like alcohol or witch hazel that temporarily tighten skin but cause irritation and a rebound effect. Pores might look smaller for an hour, but next day they're back – often worse. Skin needs balance and support, not temporary tricks.
Tips for refined pores
Cleanse thoroughly but gently
Clogged pores look larger. A thorough yet gentle cleanse morning and evening keeps pores clear without stressing the sebaceous glands. Double cleansing with oil first in the evening is ideal.
Exfoliate regularly
Gentle exfoliation 1–2 times per week helps remove dead skin cells that otherwise clog pores. BHA (salicylic acid) in low concentration is pores' best friend.
Wear sunscreen daily
UV radiation breaks down the collagen that gives pores structure. Without sunscreen, pores lose their support and gradually appear larger. SPF is pore minimizing.
Skip pore strips and peel-offs
They provide temporary satisfaction but can damage pores and make them larger long-term. Focus on daily balance instead of dramatic one-time treatments.

How CBD helps with large pores
CBD's sebostatic properties are central to pore minimization. By normalizing oil production via CB2 receptors in the sebaceous glands, CBD reduces the overproduction that widens and clogs pores. Less sebum means pores aren't forced to expand.
Additionally, CBD supports collagen synthesis and protects existing collagen from breakdown through its antioxidant action. Stronger collagen around the pores gives them better structure and a tighter appearance.
The DUO-kit with The ONE (10% CBD) and I LOVE (10% CBD + 5% CBG) provides the daily balance pores need. Au Naturel Makeup Remover with MCT oil dissolves the sebum and debris that collects in pores without drying out – oil cleansing that actually works with skin biology.
Frequently asked questions
Can CBD really minimize pores?
CBD doesn't reduce actual pore size but makes them significantly less visible by balancing oil, cleansing, and strengthening the support structure. The result is smoother, refined skin with less prominent pores.
Won't oil clog my pores?
Our CBD oils are non-comedogenic. In fact, they signal to skin that it has enough lipids, which reduces the overproduction of oil that actually clogs pores.
How often should I use the products?
Daily, morning and evening. Au Naturel as evening cleanser to dissolve the day's buildup, followed by DUO-kit oils. Consistency gives the best results for pore refinement.
