The people behind
Two people sharing one conviction: skin already knows what it needs. We just listen.

Our story
1753 SKINCARE was born out of frustration with an industry that too often puts marketing before results. We wanted to prove there is another way: natural cannabinoids, fewer products and a more holistic view of skin and health.
The brand takes its name from Carl Linnaeus (1707–1778), the Swedish botanist who classified Cannabis sativa in 1753. His legacy lives on in our curiosity about what nature can do when you stop overcomplicating it.

No marketing fog. If we say something, we should be able to stand behind it.
Skin reflects the whole body. We look beyond symptoms and ask why they are there.
Fewer, better ingredients. No 50-step ritual, just what your skin actually needs.
We build this with our customers. Their feedback shapes what comes next.

Christopher Genberg, struggling with skin issues, finds conventional skincare creates more problems than it solves.
After months of research, development begins on the first CBD-based formulas.
The ONE Facial Oil and I LOVE Facial Oil are the first products. The brand takes Linnaeus’s legacy as its name.
Au Naturel Makeup Remover and the DUO kit launch. We add supplements with Fungtastic.
Our CBG-rich serum becomes an instant favourite. The DUO + TA-DA kit is born.
We launch AI-driven skin analysis that sees the full picture: lifestyle, diet, sleep — not just the surface.
