CBD for dark circles – truly wake up
Dark circles are rarely just about sleep. It's about thin skin, poor circulation, and inflammation. CBD addresses all three – for eyes that look rested even on Mondays.

Why do we get dark circles?
The skin under the eyes is the thinnest on the entire body – just 0.5 mm compared to 2 mm on the cheeks. This means blood vessels, pigment, and fluid retention show more clearly here than anywhere else. Dark circles are rarely an isolated problem.
The most common causes include genetics (thinner skin or more pigment), sleep deprivation (blood vessels dilate and show more), aging (collagen and fat under the eyes thin out), allergies (inflammation and rubbing), and dehydration. Screen time worsens the problem as the eye muscles strain and blood circulation is affected.
Eye creams often promise more than they deliver. Most contain the same ingredients as regular moisturizers but in smaller packaging at higher prices. What the skin under the eyes truly needs is a strengthened barrier, better circulation, and reduced inflammation – not marketing.
Tips for dark circles
Prioritize sleep
Sleep is when your body repairs itself. With sleep deprivation, blood vessels under the eyes dilate and skin looks darker. Seven to eight hours of continuous sleep does more than any eye cream.
Stay hydrated
Dehydration makes the skin under the eyes even thinner and more transparent. Stay hydrated throughout the day – water, herbal tea, water-rich fruit. Reduce caffeine and alcohol that dehydrate.
Cool down in the morning
Cold constricts blood vessels and reduces puffiness. Keep an eye mask in the fridge or hold cold spoons against your eyes for a few minutes each morning.
Protect against blue light
Extended screen time stresses the eye area. Use blue light filters, take regular breaks (20-20-20 rule), and ensure your screen isn't brighter than the surroundings.
Don't rub your eyes
Friction against the thin skin under the eyes breaks down collagen and causes pigmentation. Be gentle during cleansing and application – pat, never drag.

How CBD helps with dark circles
CBD's anti-inflammatory properties reduce the puffiness and inflammation that contribute to dark circles. By interacting with the endocannabinoid system, CBD improves microcirculation in the skin, meaning blood doesn't pool and show as prominently under the eyes.
CBD also supports collagen production and strengthens the ultra-thin skin under the eyes, making it less transparent over time. The antioxidants in CBD also protect against the oxidative stress that breaks down the already vulnerable skin.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use CBD oil under my eyes?
Yes, our face oils are gentle enough for the eye area. Apply a small drop with your ring finger (the weakest finger) and pat in gently. Avoid getting too close to the lash line.
How long until I see results?
Dark circles improve gradually. Most notice a brighter, fresher look within 3–6 weeks. Genetically predisposed dark circles can't be fully eliminated but become significantly milder.
What does CBG do specifically for the eye area?
CBG has powerful anti-inflammatory properties that are especially valuable for the delicate eye area. It helps reduce puffiness and supports the thin skin's barrier function.
